UV Resistant PET Expandable Braided Sleeving
MJ FLEX UV Resistant PET Braided Sleeving is made from UV-stabilized polyester monofilaments for protecting wires, cable bundles and hoses in outdoor or sunlight-exposed environments.
The sleeving has successfully completed a 1,000-hour xenon-arc weathering test according to ISO 4892-2. After testing, it retained excellent flexibility and mechanical performance, with no visible cracking or embrittlement.

Why Use UV Resistant Braided Sleeving?
Ordinary PET sleeving may gradually fade, harden or lose flexibility after prolonged sunlight exposure.
UV-stabilized PET braided sleeving improves resistance to ultraviolet radiation while retaining the abrasion resistance, flexibility and expandability of standard PET sleeving.
It is suitable for outdoor cable protection but is not waterproof because of its open braided structure.

Yes. It is developed for cables and wire bundles exposed to sunlight and has been tested for 1,000 hours according to ISO 4892-2.
Is it waterproof?
No. It provides UV, abrasion and mechanical protection but does not create a waterproof seal.
Which color is recommended for outdoor use?
Black is recommended because it generally provides better long-term UV resistance.
