MJ FLEX PET Braided Sleeving Successfully Passes ISO 4892-2 1000-Hour UV Weathering Test
MJ FLEX is pleased to announce that our PET Braided Sleeving has successfully passed the ISO 4892-2 Xenon Arc accelerated weathering test after 1,000 hours of UV exposure.
The test was conducted in accordance with ISO 4892-2, simulating long-term outdoor sunlight and weather conditions to evaluate the product's UV resistance and weathering performance.
After 1,000 hours of exposure, the product showed no obvious brittleness or cracking, while maintaining excellent mechanical properties.
Test Results
Maximum Tensile Force Retention: 90.0% (7000 N → 6300 N)
Elongation at Break Retention: 94.2% (26.0% → 24.5%)
Appearance: No obvious brittleness or cracking
These results demonstrate the excellent UV resistance and long-term durability of MJ FLEX PET Braided Sleeving, making it an ideal solution for automotive, industrial, renewable energy and outdoor wire harness protection applications.
